Graduation is where the year comes together: gowns, garlands, certificates and very proud families.

Every year we bring our graduates and their families together to mark what they have earned. The chief guests over the years say something about the company we keep: the Director of the Higher Education Commission, the Director of FNU’s National Training and Productivity Centre, the Ministry of Health’s Director of Nursing, and the chief executive of the Tertiary Scholarships and Loans Service.

The awards matter too. Dux of Hairdressing and Dux of Beauty and Spa go to the top students in each stream. The Creative Award, the Leadership Award, the Master Barber Award and the Principal’s Award recognise the qualities a certificate cannot show. In 2016 we graduated 228 students in one night.

In 2026 one of our Dux winners, a mother from Nadi, had her story told in the Fijian press: she had promised her daughters she would finish, and she did.
